UV laser has a higher absorption rate for materials than fiberlaser (wavelength 1064nm) and green laser (wavelength 532nm) have. The laser beam can be efficiently absorbed by the surface of the marked materials, which protects the materials from damag and delivers high quality marking effects. Even for materials with high reflectivity like gold, silver and copper, the absorption rate is still high without heat of reaction. UV lasers don't produce particles or damage the mate- rials' surface, so it can be also applied for materials with corrosion resistance.
